Thomas A. Coleman, Jr.

The Woodbury City Board of Education is pleased to announce the hiring of Thomas A. Coleman, Jr. as the district’s interim superintendent. Mr. Coleman started in October 2018, and is expected to be with us through this 2018-2019 school year.

After having served 42 years in education, Mr. Coleman retired on July 1, 2017, from the Woodstown-Pilesgrove School District where he served as their Superintendent for 8 years.  Subsequent to that, he was Principal at Kingsway High School for 15 years, Assistant Principal at Collingswood High School for 5 years, Guidance Counselor at Triton High School for 3 years, and Teacher of Social Studies for 11 years at Camden Catholic.

We look forward to having a person with Mr. Coleman's experience and expertise at the helm of the school while we search for our new permanent superintendent for the district.
