Parent Advisory Committee

The Woodbury Special Education Parent Advisory Group consists of a number of parent volunteers whose mission is to come together as a small community to discuss issue relating to special education services. Our goals can be highlighted as follows:

  • Develop a parent support network for individuals that have educational disabilities
  • Review and discuss current district programming with regards to special education and related services
  • Provide feedback, ideas, comments, etc in an effort to strengthen and build on current programming
  • Provide Professional Development Opportunities for Parents

This year we will continue with our partnerships with other local districts, professional organizations and community organizations to provide parents with relevant professional training relating to students that receive special education services. Stay tuned for mailings and brochures in the upcoming weeks/months to highlight our calendar of training opportunities for the year.
