The Technology Department consists of three divisions. They are the Technical/Networking Division, the Instructional – Elementary Division and Instructional – Secondary School Division.
Technology Coordinator Ian Gordon, along with Senior Technician Phil Bolger, and Technicians James Futia and Chris Wood take care of our extensive network and the approximately 500 district computers and 1700 Chromebooks. Mr. Gordon, Mr. Bolger, Mr. Futia, and Mr. Wood strive to keep Woodbury City Public Schools on the leading edge of computer/network technology in order to provide the students every opportunity to develop and increase skills that will be needed in further educational and occupational pursuits.
Instructional – District
Trinna Wooster is the District Instructional Coach for Technology. She assists teachers in elementary, junior and high school to enhance learning through improved integration of technology. Her primary focus is to enrich and support teaching and learning while strengthening the technology skills of students, teachers and staff. Mrs. Wooster assists classroom teachers in the incorporation of technological hardware and software into the lesson plan.
Instructional – Secondary
At the Junior-Senior High School the Instructional Technology Division consists of Mr. Seebadri (Business and Personal Law, Entrepreneurship Education, Sports & Entertainment Marketing, Personal Finance and Publishing Technology), Miss Cheyney (CAD, Computer Skills, and Basic Technology/Careers) and Mr. Doud (Video Technology/ Communications); Mr. Ford teaches Programming and Video Game Design. The objective of the technology program at the Junior-Senior High School is to provide the student with the skills that will be needed in further educational and occupational pursuits.
