New, larger Carpenter Street School was built |

William Milligan High School was built |

Fire destroys the William Milligan High School |

Construction began on the new Woodbury High School; governor and future president, Woodrow Wilson, laid the cornerstone |

Woodbury High School opens |

Central School is dedicated |

New West End Elementary School was built |
1954 |
Evergreen Avenue Elementary School was built |
1957 |
The new high school gymnasium, Junior High School Annex, and additions to all elementary schools – Evergreen, Walnut and West End Memorial – were completed |

The Carpenter Street School was closed |

A new kitchen and high school cafeteria were added |
1968 |
A new wing was added to the high school containing a home economics suite, science rooms, and the current Junior-Senior High School’s library |
2000 |
Additions were made to Evergreen Avenue School and West End Memorial School; a new cafeteria and lobby were added to the Junior-Senior High school |
2004 |
A bond referendum was approved for repairs and an upgrade to the district buildings that included renovations to the auditorium, second and third floors of the high school, a new geothermal HVAC in all the schools, and repairs and renovations to the high school stadium |
2008 |
Structural concerns cause most of the oldest, original portion of the Walnut Street School to be demolished. The main office and library are relocated to the bottom floor and the school continues to operate in the smaller quarters. |
2009 |
Geothermal water treatment filler was installed at the high school |
2012 |
Installed complete Wi-Fi systems in schools |
2014 |
The library media center at the high school was renovated |
2015 |
Safety corridors connecting the annex and junior high as well as the library to the main office were constructed in the Junior-Senior High School The main office at Evergreen Avenue School was moved and renovated |
2016 |
Solar panels were installed at Evergreen Avenue School, West End Memorial School, and the Junior-Senior High School The main office at West End Memorial School was renovated |
2017 |
New floors, ceilings, as well as door and hardware replacements were completed to 11 classrooms, a lab, and the guidance and nurse offices in the high school. |
