Dear Woodbury Family,
I’m so proud of our scholars and staff as we’ve started the 2021-2022 school year. It has been wonderful to see students working together and learning from each other already this year. I have been able to see many students already this year in action, whether with administrators, their teachers or peers, there is a great buzz and excitement in the air about this school year.
Over the past eight months we’ve been taking steps to develop the Woodbury City School District into a world class district by creating a new strategic plan to replace our previous plan. To do this, we have enlisted the support of an organization with deep expertise in strategic planning with school districts, Made By Change.
Made By Change is a mission consulting firm rooted in the power of collective change for common inequities. We are excited about this partnership and the potential to strengthen our strategic plan and set us on the path to success for the next 5 years.
I am excited to announce the launch of our 2022-2027 strategic planning process. We need your help and want to know what you think.
As a first step in this process, I’m reaching out to gauge your interest in supporting this important work. I’m asking anyone who is interested in supporting the strategic planning process to complete this brief survey to show interest. We’re going to be forming a steering committee composed of a variety of staff, students, parents and community members,
Please take 5 minutes to express your interest by clicking on the link here. We will continue to communicate with you throughout the process. We expect to complete this strategic plan in January 2022.
Our points of contact from Made By Change are David Hardy, Jr. and Emily Appel. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for your commitment to the Woodbury City Public School District.
