New Jersey is not living up to its promise to fully fund or reform the current calculation of state aide to public schools via the School Funding Reform Act (SFRA). It is not fair that the SFRA is funded at an overall level of approximately 85%, but Woodbury only receives 74% of its SFRA determined allocation, while other school districts are at or near full funding. Woodbury has unfairly been shorted many millions of dollars in state aid as a result of this inequitable distribution. Please sign our petition to Governor Christie urging him to correct this unfair imbalance that has put an extra burden on our school district to make up for these lost funds.
Thank you so much for your help! We set a goal of having at least 1,000 people sign this petition so please spread the word to friends and family members.
