Hispanic Family Center

The Hispanic Family Center of Southern New Jersey, Inc. (HFC) improves South Jersey residents' health, opportunities and self-sufficiency by providing a wide variety of health and human services.  The HFC launched in North Camden in 1976, and opened a Woodbury Branch in 2009.

The HFC’s mission is to provide the community with a broad range of culturally relevant social services and advocacy programs that promote and encourage empowerment and self sufficiency.

Annually, HFC serves approximately 10,000 consumers. Throughout it’s nearly 40 year history the HFC has strived to meet the ever changing needs of residents of South Jersey. What started as a grassroots organization providing mental health services and advocacy has become a community leader that provides services which positively impact the lives of its consumers.

HFC has continuously taken a leadership role in coordinating efforts with other community organizations to facilitate the provision of a full range of services for individuals and families in need. The HFC works with other entities to ensure appropriate access to services while maintaining a particular emphasis on promoting health, self sufficiency and opportunities for its consumers.
