Senior High School Counseling Director of Pupil Services High school counselors work with teachers, parents, administrators and the community to support student success in grades 9-12. Counselors utilize classroom, group activities, and individual counseling to meet student needs - interpersonal, social and academic. Counselors emphasize Counselors emphasize goal setting, schedule planning, decision-making, problem solving, educational, college and career planning (scheduling the correct classes), testing (HSPA, PSAT, SAT, ACT). They prepare students for the transition to the world of work. The counselors aid in post-graduation plans, financial aid, Career Day, college or technical school admissions, military admissions or beginning an apprenticeship. Counselors at all levels provide services such as: parent/teacher conferences, orientation programs, standardized testing, standardized testing and referral to outside agencies when needed.

the Counselor for grades 9-12 (A-K). Sherrie
Davis is
the Counselor for grades 9-12 (L-Z). Gloria Goode is the Case Manager for students in grade 12, homeless
liaison and district social worker grades PreK-12.
