Board of Education Appoints New Superintendent

Denise Currie | March 17, 2017

The Board of Education is happy to announce that it has appointed Lynn DiPietropolo as Woodbury’s Superintendent of Schools at its March 15 regular Board meeting. The district received approval of Ms. DiPietroplo's proposed contract by the executive county superintendent.  Ms. DiPietropolo is currently the Superintendent/Principal in Clementon, and has spent a number of years as a teacher, curriculum director, and administrator.

After a rigorous search process, which began in the fall, and included input sessions, a survey of staff and community members, as well as hours of research and deliberation by the Board, the search portion of the process was completed. The Board of Education is confident that Ms. DiPietropolo will be able to continue and expand upon the good work that is taking place in our district. Ms. DiPietropolo will begin her duties here in Woodbury on July 1, 2017.
