Instructional Assistant - Non-Certificated Position
Diverse, progressive public school district is seeking a dynamic individual to fill an Instructional Assistant opening. This position involves supporting teachers and students in the Junior High School (Grades 6–8) with test preparation strategies. Ideal candidates will have a teaching degree, a passion for working with children and an ability to work in a collaborative setting with regular education teachers. This position is for 29 hours per week and pays at a rate of $16 per hour. Health Benefits are NOT provided. Minimum education requirements include a Bachelor’s degree; a state issued teaching certificate is preferred.
