Woodbury, New Jersey – August 13, 2014. Woodbury City Public Schools is proud to be a “Leader in Personalizing Education,” winning national recognition from such prestigious organizations as U.S. News & World Report, the College Board, and the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) college-readiness program.
This success has been accomplished through adherence to the district’s mission, as well as a commitment to continuously evaluate and improve its academic programs. This is done through the cooperative efforts of Board members, administration, staff, students, parents, and the general community to develop and update the district’s Strategic Plan.
The Strategic Plan is what supports Woodbury City Public Schools’ vision with clear goals, outcomes, and priorities and provides a strong path to “ensure each child becomes a responsible citizen who excels in his or her endeavors and meets life’s challenges with courage, confidence and pride.”
Woodbury City Public Schools would like to invite the public to assist the district in the current update of its Strategic Plan. Meetings will take place at 6:00 p.m. in the high school’s Gold Cafeteria and will last approximately 1½ hours each. All are welcome to attend one or more of the following meetings:
