Connie Belko – 605
Delaware St.
Please explain the
Gifted and Talented Program with hiring
of new teacher.
Everything we hear
about injuries caused by turf – have we considered this?
What is the role of a
mediator? Is it different than an
arbitrator?
Debbie White –
Have approached other
vendors to provide prices for bussing?
Is there anything that
the citizens can do to help settle the teacher’s negotiations?
Anthony Chiesa –
A lot of programs have
been cut over the years. If Mrs. White
wants to join the PTA or other organizations to do fundraising.
Susan Saradacus-
Turf – If we decide
this is the way to go, we need to make a very affirmative argument for
this.
Mr. Clark – The
referendum money was earmarked only for these projects.
Mr. Goodrich – If we
don’t spend the referendum money the money goes back to the taxpayers.
Mr. Jenkins – 345
Glover St. – Encourage the Board to move cautiously with contract
negotiations. Historically Woodbury has
been very generous. We need to hold
these increases down. Our tax rate is
one of the highest in the State.
Turf Issue – Tough
public relations sell with public. He
understands the maintenance benefits.
Need binoculars from
the track stands to see the track.
Tom Lewis – If someone
associates us with putting turf on field it may affect future budget votes.
