Title 18A requires that every Board of
Education be updated annually regarding the activities during
the year.
School
Violence Awareness Week was last week.
Mr.
Jones made a power point presentation.
He
reported that for the 2004-05 School Year, incidents were entered into the EVVRS System during the school year. Schools are required to report violence, vandalism, weapons and substance abuse (with
various subcategories under them). (minor incidents are
not reported).

Testing Report
Mr. Jones made a Power Point presentation on 2004-05
school year state tests.
He reviewed AYP for all four schools, assessment of
skills and knowledge for grades 3 and
4 test results, grade eight Proficiency Test Results, High School Proficiency Assessment test results, SAT test results and
Advanced Placement test scores.
Ms. Hill What are we doing differently for our PK 2
based on our ASK3 to make sure the
students are successful on the ASK3?
Ms. Cummings Discussed an instructional plan for the
2005-06 school year.
John Belko SAT percentages
seem to have declined from the previous 2 years. Do we know
why?
